Jon is a warm, funny and talented person to work with. A great engineer, wonderful producer and flawless musician, he’s developed Crosstown in his own image and it’s a fantastic place to work. And the coffee is as good as the gear… highly recommended.

I just wrote a long review but would anyone read it? Anyway it’s gone. I’ve been using Jon Lawton’s Crosstown Studios for over 8 years now. Totally recommended for any genre of artist. Any level of experience and for any that need a guitarist/bass player for their recording if you want to (I do). Crosstown Studios will get the best out of you with an empathic guiding hand, a great coffee and the best set up you could hope for. Can I give it 6 stars?

Not only is Jon Lawton's Crosstown Studios the most loved studio on Merseyside but Jon is the most talented engineer, works so hard with you to get exactly what you want from your songs and sessions, very patient with you and has an amazing bedside manner. On top of all that he is a multi instrumentalist and is you are short of music playing abilities he'll do your playing for you. Every client of his I know says the same and people are anxious to return.
